About Us

Our Philosophy

At Kekoa Capital, we believe you shouldn’t pay more for the same service just because your assets grow. For example, if your portfolio increases from $200,000 to $1,000,000, a typical 1% fee would raise your annual cost from $2,000 to $10,000—without adding $8,000 in value. We offer a flat fee instead, ensuring your financial success isn’t penalized. Whether you need one-time advice or ongoing support, you’ll get exceptional service at a consistent price, so you can focus on what really matters: your future.

Our Mission

Financial planning shouldn't be overwhelming; it should be empowering. At Kekoa Capital, we simplify the process, making it easier for you to understand and take control of your financial future. We don't offer one-size-fits-all solutions—instead, we craft a plan that's tailored to your unique goals and life.

Money should be a tool for confidence, not stress. Our mission is to support you in making smart, sustainable financial decisions, so you can move forward with clarity, confidence, and control every step of the way.

About Katie

I'm Katie, the founder of Kekoa Capital, and I believe financial planning should feel like a conversation, not a lecture.

After working in the financial services industry, I saw how often people felt excluded from the process—talked at instead of listened to. I founded Kekoa Capital to change that. My approach is rooted in trust, clarity, and real-life connection, focused on helping clients make smart, sustainable decisions without the jargon, pressure, or judgment.

The idea for Kekoa Capital ignited in my twenties when friends kept asking, "What should I do with my money?", "How do I start saving?", "Is this normal?". I realized just how few places offered accessible, honest financial guidance. I created Kekoa Capital to fill that gap.

Whether you need help getting organized, making a plan, or just feeling more in control of your finances, I'm here to be your sounding board and guide.

When I'm not working with clients, I'm likely outdoors with my dog, Koa, exploring new places, or spending the afternoon with my family and friends. (Fun fact: Koa's name inspired Kekoa, which means "brave" in Hawaiian—because getting a handle on your finances takes courage, and I think that's worth celebrating.)
